As a Confidence Coach, I am often asked “what is the definition of confidence?” In all the years of coaching hundreds of clients, the strongest definition of confidence is “moving forward into uncertainty“. You see, if you’ve faced it or conquered it before, it is much more likely you will be confident.
Moving forward after a divorce, your friend betrayed you, the church/ministry hurt you, corporate America eliminated your role, your child leaves the nest, you receive the diagnosis, etc. and yet continuing to create action steps to move forward is the one of the most confident moves a woman can make.
We don’t march into uncertainty alone, however, we do it under the mighty hand of God which is where our obedience turns into confidence. I am reminded of the verse in Joshua 3:4 that says “you will know which way to go, for you have not been this way before.“
This verse became real to me over the last year as I’ve been writing, restructuring, collaborating, and editing this book “Your Confidence Compass…From Self-Doubt to Self-Leadership.” I begged my editor to have someone else write this for me. And yet, I drew upon the confidence that this book teaches to keep writing, editing, submitting, praying and preparing for this book baby to be born.
The very content within these pages was the very content I needed to bring these pages to life. And I know you will also enjoy collecting your confidence through these pages.

If you are wanting to gather more confidence, here are important links to begin this journey. (Release date 4/15/25 … Preorders live now) Let’s go!
