When we know God has given us an assignment, obedi When we know God has given us an assignment, obedience requires us to create availability in our lives to fulfill that assignment. The origin of the word avail comes from “availen, “to help (someone), assist; benefit, be profitable to…” In our packed schedules, being available to one thing will often require us to be unavailable to other opportunities. ➡️Saying Yes to Friday night football games for your kids will require a No to other social plans on the weekends for football season. ➡️ Saying Yes to care for your health will require saying No to fast food opting instead for meal prep. ➡️ Saying Yes to caring for an aging parent means saying No to other activities that will crowd or stretch sustainability.
